Apple unveiled its new operating system, iOS 11, last Monday. The new operating system introduces ARKit, an augmented reality tool that allows more people to create apps that use augmented reality.

“By blending digital objects and information with the environment around you, augmented reality takes apps beyond the screen, freeing them to interact with the real world in entirely new ways,” says Apple.

This is another step towards integrating augmented reality into our daily lives with other giant companies like Facebook, Microsoft, and Snapchat who have already taken large strides towards doing so.

Augmented reality has the potential to add a 4th dimension to our everyday lives. To learn more, check out the full article on CNBC.
